In an interview to the The Wall Street Journal US National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley said that extremists pose a serious threat to Pakistan.
He said that there is increasing evidence of terrorism originating from Pakistan’s territory. Pakistan needs to get to the bottom of who was actually responsible for Mumbai attack.
Hadley said Pakistan has to take action, not as a favour to anybody else, but because those elements threaten the stability of Pakistan.
