The race to the White House is almost over. And on Friday, Barack Obama told Americans that his first priority if he wins the election, will not be tax reform, but to catch Osama Bin Laden.
It’s a clear indication that in spite of the polls showing Barack Obama well ahead of John McCain, he’s not taking any chances.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Sarasota Obama said, “We will finally finish the fight and snuff out Al-Qaida and Bin Laden who killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11. I will never hesitate to do what it takes to defend this nation.”
Speaking on India and Pakistan, Obama said in an interview, “The biggest threat to Pakistan is not India but militants in their own border.”
And as election day draws near both Obama and McCain are targeting swing states like Florida and Ohio, with a large number of undecided voters and potential swing states.
However, New York remains an Obama country.
Meanwhile, it’s just three days to go now for the US Presidential elections and latest polls show Obama still has a significant lead.
According to CNN’s poll of polls, 50 per cent of likely voters are backing Obama, 43 per cent support McCain and seven per cent are undecided.
